Tia joined MMFA in 2019 as a Smurf cheer coach. She joined the board in 2021, became Cheer Registrar in 2023, and stepped into the role of Secretary this season. Over the years, she has coached not only sideline cheer, but also our competition teams, helping lead them to a 1st place victory in Baltimore alongside the other coaches.

Tia has also been a strong advocate for athlete safety, helping bring AEDs into the league.

Happy Birthday, Coach Tia! Thank you for all you have done for our kiddos, our cheer program, and the entire league. We appreciate you!

Cheer registration closes tomorrow, May 27th at midnight! Please do not miss the opportunity to have fun and develop your skills as a cheerleader this season. The coaches and board members have been working extremely hard to coordinate what will be an amazing season!

Football registration is open until 6/30/26. We are in need of Smurf players ages 5-7 as of 4/30/26. Please reach out should you have any questions.

Evaluations are right around the corner, and our coaches are ready to teach some new material! Please take a look at the details, and be prepared for next week. Evaluations are mandatory. If you have not reached out to make alternate arrangements we are assuming your cheerleader will be joining us on Saturday, May 30th.

Get a jump on the season with Speed & Agility training at Play Ball Indoor Turf! The facility is owned by our very own Midget Coach, Jim Lamancusa and the training sessions will be run by Taylor Shearer. Taylor played football for the Wildcats and played football at the collegiate level. He's coached for the MMFA for the past 3 seasons and will be coming back this year as the Assistant Offensive Coordinator for the midget team. Please find the attached flyer for additional details.

Today we recognize Coach Amanda Brudowsky and wish her a very Happy Birthday! Amanda is joining us this year as a Pony Cheer Coach, but she has been the High-school coach for many years. She has also choreographed routines for our competition teams in the past. We look forward to aligning our program more closely with the High-school program, helping to better prepare our athletes for High-school cheer with Amanda joining our team this season.

We would like to take a moment to recognize Pony cheer coach Caitlin Panko and wish her a very Happy Birthday 🎊

Caitlin and her daughter came to MMFA last year, and while she is just stepping into a coaching role this season, she was always eager to help in any way possible. Caitlin is already showing her dedication to the program by helping with open gyms. We look forward to seeing you excel this season.
