Looking for ways to thank the EMS Professionals in your community or honor the sacrifices of those lost in the line of duty? Join the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride for a single-day ride through Northern Virginia to kick off the Weekend of Honor in Arlington, Virginia! And new this year, conclude the Weekend of Honor with an unsupported single-day ride on the Mt. Vernon Trail.

Throughout these one or two-day rides, you will meet and bond with fellow EMS Professionals, surviving friends and family members of honorees, and supportive civilians. Whichever group you fall into, you will be welcomed from the moment you join our family!

Pedal, support, bind, rest, regroup, commiserate, laugh, and grieve with other riders or support members much like yourself, for a mile, a few, or the entire route.

Choose to start the weekend Friday, July 17th, to cycle from 22 to 62 miles (metric century) or, new for this year, a second day is available on Sunday, July 19th, to ride the Mt. Vernon Trail (without support) to conclude the weekend. Register for one or both days for only $50 for cyclists and $25 for support (Friday only). Hotel rooms are available through the National EMS Memorial Service.

The Weekend of Honor culminates with the National EMS Memorial Service on Saturday evening. It honors the lives of EMS and Air Medical Professionals lost in the line of duty during the preceding year.

You don’t have to be a professional to save a life.

Learning life-saving skills like CPR and Stop The Bleed can make all the difference in an emergency.

And saving lives can go beyond the tragedy —registering as an organ donor through Donate Life gives hope and a second chance to those in need.

Take the time to get trained and consider becoming a donor—you could be someone’s hero in more ways than one.

Be prepared. Be empowered.

Emergencies can be especially scary for kid, but EMS professionals are trained to bring not just expert care, but calm, comfort, and reassurance when it’s needed most.

From tiny patients to teenagers, every child deserves care designed just for them. Today we recognize the specialized skills and compassion that make a difference in pediatric emergencies.

Let’s also remind families to keep important medical info accessible and talk with kids about what to do in an emergency. It can make all the difference.

Because when it comes to our kids, every second, and every smile, counts.

EMERGENCY offre cure gratuite e di elevata qualità alle vittime delle guerre, delle mine antiuomo, della povertà. Promuove una cultura di pace e diritti.
