When a truck arrives at East Valley Remediation Facility, the first step is check-in. And this is where accountability begins.

Each load of liquid waste received at EVRF is assigned its own Department of Transportation (DOT) manifest number. This unique identifier tracks that specific shipment from arrival through final treatment, ensuring complete transparency and regulatory compliance.
This means:
-Full traceability of every gallon we receive
-Documented verification that the waste meets our acceptance criteria
-Compliance with federal and state transportation regulations
-A permanent record that protects both our facility and our community

Our check-in process is about creating accountability at every stage. From the moment a truck pulls in until treatment is complete, we know exactly what we have, where it came from, and how it’s being handled.

That’s the level of detail that separates responsible waste management from just processing waste.

An updated Birds Eye view of the EVRF facility

We are one of Southern California’s largest liquid processing capacities handling non-hazardous liquid waste.

Did you know that the evaporators that we use in our liquid retention tanks use a more passive, horizontal evaporation process?

This prevents water from being sprayed into the air or outside the confines of each tank/pond. We always ensure we operate EVRF to the highest standard.

We’ve just completed the expansion of our odor fence around the East Valley Remediation Facility!

The expansion of our odor fence is facing Avenue 62 and with it, we now have almost 4,000 feet of odor fence installed on our property.

It is important to us to invest our resources in keeping our community happy.

Have you seen the new updates we’ve made?

Myth: Waste Processing Facilities Are Bad for the Environment

Reality: We’re actually protecting it.

Here’s what many people don’t realize: liquid waste doesn’t just disappear. Without proper processing facilities like EVRF, that waste would end up somewhere—often in places that can cause real environmental harm.

What We Prevent:
* Illegal dumping that contaminates soil and groundwater
* Untreated waste entering storm drains and waterways
* Long-distance transportation emissions
* Improper disposal that creates long-term environmental liabilities

What We Provide:
* Controlled, compliant processing in engineered containment systems
* Protection for surrounding soil and groundwater through advanced retention technology
* Regulatory oversight and environmental monitoring
* Proper treatment that prevents contamination before it happens

When done right, waste processing facilities are an essential part of environmental protection, not a threat to it. We’re the solution that keeps liquid waste from becoming an environmental problem.

When East Valley Remediation Facility took over this site in 2023, we inherited a significant challenge: 17,000 tons of legacy waste left behind from previous operations.

A year and a half later, that legacy waste is completely gone.

This wasn’t just a cleanup—it was our commitment to environmental responsibility in action. We removed every ton of that waste, restored the land, and expanded our capacity to better serve Southern California’s liquid waste processing needs.

The difference you see in these images represents more than just a cleaner facility. It’s proof that we don’t just talk about environmental stewardship—we invest in it, work for it, and deliver on it.

From inherited liability to industry-leading operation. This is what accountability looks like.
