HAPPY GRADUATION WEEK!! The Mebane Woman's Club is proud and honored to award the Aimee Krans Memorial Scholarship to two young ladies.
What do these two adorable little girls have in common, you ask?
💁♀️💁♀️✨Well… they didn’t just grow up to be amazing young women — they each also became this year’s recipients of the second annual Aimee Krans Memorial Scholarship which awards a $1,000 non-renewable scholarship to an Eastern Alamance female athlete who attends either EA or Alamance Burlington Early College. This year we proudly awarded TWO $1,000 scholarships.
From cute kiddos with big dreams to powerhouse young ladies making them happen… we think Aimee would be smiling so big today. 🌻🌻🌻
Ryan Tanner attended ABEC, played tennis at Eastern, was involved in several extracurricular activities and leadership roles both in and out of school; she plans to study Zoology/Biology and Photography/Visual Arts at UNC Asheville.
Etta Krans attended Eastern Alamance High School, participated both as an athlete and a leader in Volleyball, Track and Field, Swimming, and organizations such as Eagle Maniacs, Student Council, and FCA; she plans to study Exercise Science and potentially a master’s in Occupational Therapy at Appalachian State.
Both of these sweet young women embody the spirit of Aimee Krans- her warmth, her drive, and her commitment to making a meaningful impact within our community.
CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!!!
