REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for Safety Town! Register your child for a fun, interactive, educational program to learn safety skills. This class is PERFECT for 5-7 year olds! We have spots available, so register today! Kids will not only learn safety skills while having fun, they’ll take home a tee shirt, helmet and ditty bag!

At Safety Town, children will learn road, water, fire, and home safety from our local experts with the Mebane Police Department and Mebane NC Fire Department. In partnership with the Mebane Recreation and Parks Department, we are excited to offer this FREE skills-building program to our youngest.

Mebane Woman's Club loves partnering with Southern Alamance Family Empowerment (SAFE Alamance). Several members volunteered this morning at the Hwy 87 location. A big thanks to Vee, Lynn, Barb, Libbie and Cheryl for sharing their time for an incredible and worthwhile program.

SAFE operates three choice food pantries in Alamance County. A choice food pantry is set up to resemble a small grocery store and allows individuals and families to shop for the food they want, empowering families to choose items based on their needs and preferences.

To help meet the needs of families, SAFE sees individuals and families at all three food pantries by appointment only.

SAFE food pantries serve families at the following times:

SAFE at Hwy 87 — Tuesday and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon and the first and third Saturdays of each month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

SAFE at Snow Camp — The first and third Saturdays of each month from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

SAFE at The Bridge — Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Call (336) 525-2120 to make your appointment

A quick reminder that we are hosting our Annual Hygiene Drive and appreciate your support. This is a big project for our club (and one of our favorites!) that makes an impact on a child's life.

Last year we donated 700 packs of panties/pads/wipes to our school nurses to help young ladies who have feminine emergencies while at school.

This year our goal is 1000 packs!

Please use the two QR codes below to either purchase product from our wish list or to donate money directly towards our drive.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

HAPPY GRADUATION WEEK!! The Mebane Woman's Club is proud and honored to award the Aimee Krans Memorial Scholarship to two young ladies.

What do these two adorable little girls have in common, you ask?
💁‍♀️💁‍♀️✨Well… they didn’t just grow up to be amazing young women — they each also became this year’s recipients of the second annual Aimee Krans Memorial Scholarship which awards a $1,000 non-renewable scholarship to an Eastern Alamance female athlete who attends either EA or Alamance Burlington Early College. This year we proudly awarded TWO $1,000 scholarships.
From cute kiddos with big dreams to powerhouse young ladies making them happen… we think Aimee would be smiling so big today. 🌻🌻🌻

Ryan Tanner attended ABEC, played tennis at Eastern, was involved in several extracurricular activities and leadership roles both in and out of school; she plans to study Zoology/Biology and Photography/Visual Arts at UNC Asheville.

Etta Krans attended Eastern Alamance High School, participated both as an athlete and a leader in Volleyball, Track and Field, Swimming, and organizations such as Eagle Maniacs, Student Council, and FCA; she plans to study Exercise Science and potentially a master’s in Occupational Therapy at Appalachian State.

Both of these sweet young women embody the spirit of Aimee Krans- her warmth, her drive, and her commitment to making a meaningful impact within our community.
CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!!!

THIS EVENT CLEANED UP! Members of the Mebane Woman's Club picked up litter in our community and had fun while doing it. Our Environment CSP is hard at work keeping 'Mebane Positively Charming.'
It was a beautiful morning with beautiful people, doing what we do. We had a great turn out and so many passing cars honked or hollered out "thanks!" as they drove past. Members collected a bunch of litter and talked and laughed along the way. A special thanks to Troutman Family Dentistry for allowing us to congregate in their parking lot on a Saturday morning.

National Trails Day® is Saturday, June 6! People across the country will come together to leave the trails and the outdoor community better than they found them. Before heading out to explore the trails that Alamance County has to offer, be sure to take the American Hiking Society Pledge to leave the trails and the outdoor community better than you found them. Take the pledge by visiting bit.ly/trails-day and enter for your chance to win a hiking gear prize package from American Hiking!

Congratulations to the CSP Chairs, Project Leaders and Volunteers with the Mebane Woman's Club for your hard work! We are proud to be recognized as TOP 10 winners for a few of our 2025 projects. This year we are delivering 56 projects to Mebane and surrounding areas! Again, the village is hard at work.
