As we celebrate Black in Marine Science (BIMS) Week 2023, take a look back on last year’s BIMS Immersion Program supported by NOAA Ocean Exploration and NOAA Office of National Marine Sanctuaries!

Undergraduate students from across the country traveled to south Florida, where they trained in SCUBA diving 🤿, outplanted coral nursery fragments 🪸, tagged and released sharks 🦈, and more.

Virtual Assistant Role for Girls That Scuba

🔔GIRLS THAT SCUBA IS HIRING!! 🔔

✅ Job Description:
We are looking for a remote Virtual Assistant who can assist with various daily tasks that require customer support for trip bookings and handling the Instagram account. The VA will work together with the founder and other team members in order to provide the best customer service to GTS's travelers and customers. Ideally, we are looking to hire out for 5-8 hours/week with the potential to grow with the team.

✅ Duties:
Daily check-in of customer support trips inbox
Respond to comments/DM's for the Instagram account
Uploading and creating pre-made content to the Girls That Scuba Instagram account (ie: Instagram Reels)

✅ Requirements & Skills:
Scuba dive certified at least Open Water or above
Good at customer service and communication
Experience with uploading and creating content for Instagram
Be available online to respond to emails to DM's within 24 hours

✅ Must be comfortable or willing to learn the following software/platforms:
We Travel (Travel Booking Platform)
ClickUp (our project management software)
Outlook Email
Slack (our communication platform)
Instagram
