🐾🫶🐾The Book Fair is a beloved Hawfields tradition that brings excitement, imagination, and a love of reading to our Huskies! It gives our students the opportunity to choose books that interest and inspire them—opening the door to endless adventures, new ideas, different perspectives, and a lifetime of learning, all while supporting our school library.
🐾📚 🐾When we put books in the hands of young readers, we are investing in so much more than reading. Reading strengthens vocabulary, comprehension, communication, creativity, critical thinking, focus, and academic confidence. It encourages curiosity and empathy by allowing students to experience people, places, cultures, and perspectives beyond their own.
🐾💙🐾The impact reaches far beyond the individual student. Young readers become informed thinkers, creative problem-solvers, compassionate neighbors, engaged citizens, and tomorrow’s leaders. A generation that reads is better prepared to ask questions, understand others, make informed decisions, develop new ideas, and positively contribute to our communities and society.
