Pike 4-H Summer Cooking Camps
Whether your child is just beginning their cooking journey or dreams of competing in 4-H culinary events, Pike 4-H has a cooking camp designed just for them!
Food Showcase Camp (7th–11th Grade) Ready to take your cooking skills to the next level? Food Showcase Camp is designed for older youth who want to learn advanced kitchen skills, food preparation techniques, presentation strategies, and nutrition concepts. Participants will leave camp with the knowledge and confidence needed to join one of Pike County's competitive 4-H Food Showcase Teams and begin preparing for district and state-level competitions.
Cloverleaf Cooking Camp (4th–6th Grade) Our Cloverleaf chefs will spend the day learning valuable kitchen skills while putting their math and science knowledge to work through measuring, mixing, and creating delicious recipes. Campers will leave with the tools and confidence needed to participate in the 4-H Pantry Pride Recipe Contest, where they can showcase their creativity and culinary talents.
Cloverbuds Cooking Camp (Pre-K–3rd Grade) This camp is designed to be a fun parent-and-child cooking experience where families can learn and create together. However, students in 1st through 3rd grade may attend independently if needed. Through hands-on recipes, kitchen exploration, and plenty of fun, our youngest chefs will build confidence while learning basic cooking skills and kitchen safety.
No matter which camp you choose, participants will gain practical life skills, build confidence, make new friends, and enjoy plenty of delicious creations along the way!
