is almost here! On December 2nd, we’re raising funds to support individuals and families in a housing crisis and those living on the streets. Together, we can help provide safety, hope, and a way home.

One evening at Our Neighbors' Place (EUMA's overflow emergency shelter we met the lovely lady pictured below. She was shaking uncontrollably from the cold. At 77, with swollen legs and dementia that left her confused and afraid, she could barely stay on her
feet. Then, in the softest, trembling voice, she asked,
“Is there room for me? Will you let me in?”

The winter weather is here, and the guests at Our Neighbors’ Place and Shelter at Area Meadville are at the forefront of our minds here at EUMA.
We are currently in need of cold-weather sleeping bags, plain T-shirts, crewneck sweatshirts (black or charcoal), sweatpants (black or charcoal), socks, and underwear.
