Center for Economic & Environmental Development-Sustainable Communities

Center for Economic & Environmental Development-Sustainable Communities CEED involves faculty, students, and the local community in partnerships that address community sustainability.

CEED's nationally recognized accomplishments stem from collaborative projects with government organizations, schools, businesses, and citizens' groups. Once determined, projects often develop as in-class concepts and exercises, and grow into hands-on activities combining college students with community partners to find solutions for real world problems. We address issues in watershed stewardship,

educational outreach, strategic environmental management, entrepreneurship for sustainability, art and environment, energy, forestry, community visioning, and environmental justice.
