was founded in 1947 in hopes of providing emergency services to the townships of Vernon and Union. has served the communities with honor and dignity. is proud to partner with their private social club, Vernon Central Grille. Homemade specials daily, cold drinks served with a smile, and friends right around the corner. To become a member of our Vernon Central family stop in and ask any of our friendly staff or volunteers for a membership application.

Today we remember Trooper Gary Knott of the Pennsylvania State Police. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones and colleauges.

We are honored to host a Celebration of Life this afternoon for those who personally knew Trooper Knott at our social club at 16589 McMath Ave in Vernon Township.

Please be advised of the following: a police procession will proceed from Conneaut Lake, through Vernon Township, and into Meadville via Rt. 322. Be alert for changing traffic patterns between 12:30pm and 1pm. You will see our volunteer firefighters participating in honoring Trooper Knott, his family, and his extended law enforcement family.

Parking at the social club will be tight. Please ensure that parking spots located on the North side of the station are reserved for firefighting personnel and must not be blocked.
