Today is Take Action for Libraries Day during National Library Week, April 19–25.

Friends of the Library groups play a vital role in supporting libraries across Mississippi. They raise funds, support programs, and advocate for strong library services in their communities.

Join a Friends group, volunteer your time, attend an event, or ask your local library how you can get involved.

Your support helps keep libraries strong.

Skip the drama at the grocery store! The Franklin County Public Library are doing a raffle for everything you need for Christmas dinner in a basket! Tickets are five dollars. You can get five tickets for $20. The drawing will be held on December 12 at 10 AM at the Franklin County Public Library. Come by the library or see any friends of the library member to purchase your ticket! This will include rolls, a turkey and everything needed to create sides along with pies!

We’re getting ready to rock ‘n’ roll with bingo tonight at the Meadville Baptist Church fellowship hall doors open at 5:30 games begin at 6 PM. Tickets are still available for $12 one ticket gets you Frito pies drink, dessert, and 10 rounds of bingo!!!

The library is closed today, but will reopen at 9 AM tomorrow. There are still plenty of tickets available for bingo!!

There are 10 Rounds of Bingo with 3 winners per round! Frito Pies, drinks, and desserts included with your ticket! Come join the fun and help us support our local library! Tickets are now on sale at the Franklin County Library - Meadville, MS for $12! All ages are welcome!

The Franklin County friends of the library will meet Thursday, November 6 at noon in the Franklin County Public Library!!

The Franklin County friends of the library will also hold the next bingo on Thursday, November 13 at the Meadville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall ! Doors open at 5:30 and games begin at 6 PM! We will need volunteers to bring prizes to the fellowship hall prepare food and help check numbers!
