We had a larger than usual crowd at the roadside cleanup today and are very thankful for it! We covered more roadside as a result. Join us in September for our next cleanup.

If you'd like to tackle your own section of road yourself we've left vdot orange bags in the foyer of the Community Center for you to use.

To all those that volunteered and attended the benefit concert today we are so grateful. We set the entire concert up and took it down in one day. This is such a wonderful helpful community.

At our April meeting the Ruritans were presented an update from the MoD Elementary School including pictures of their recent activities and a beautiful gift they presented the Ruritans in thanks for our support. We gave more support to the school and extra to facilitate the 6th and 7th grade field trips. We also heard an update on the backpack program and presented support for the backpack program and support to the Community Building.
