Meade County Thunder Chickens - NWTF The Meade County Thunder Chickens is the local chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation located in Meade County, KS.

The Meade County Thunder Chickens mission is to promote the hunting heritage and conservation of our natural resources in Southwest Kansas. Our main goal is to expose our Kansas youth to numerous outdoor activities to ensure that we pass on the hunting tradition through their lifetime and ours. This however would not be possible without the generous support of our local community.
