Anyone want a preview of what is to come at MCCF's Amplify Night Banquet on November 7?

Raise your hands if you like to golf!

The Joyce L. Hamm Golf Course will be auctioning off a year's family membership PLUS one clubhouse rental. This is near a $1,000 value! ALL proceeds from the nonprofit auction portion will go DIRECTLY to our nonprofits! Come out, have a great meal, enjoy great company, and help those that make our communities are great place to live. Did I mention CA$H prizes?!

They are raising funds to replace the cups, flags, tee boxes, ball washers, and make repairs to the clubhouse and improvements to the golf course. The funds will also be used to pay the City of Plains to maintain the golf course greens and fairways.

Tickets are available from MCCF Director, Board Members, participating nonprofits AND online at: https://meadeccf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/list/event?event_date_id=1034

MCCF is humbled and honored to receive The Kansas Extension Program Appreciation Award.

This award recognizes partners whose generosity and commitment strengthen extension programming and create opportunities for youth, families, and communities to thrive.

In the words of K-State Extension Extension Agent Wadona, "We is proud to present the award to the Meade County Community Foundation. Established in 2019, the Foundation supports local organizations and community initiatives through charitable giving and grant opportunities.

The impact of the Meade County Community Foundation is evident across many of our Extension programs. Their support has helped provide equipment and opportunities that directly benefit local youth and families, including grants for the 4-H Shooting Sports, the purchase of sewing machines, and continued support for our 4-H Ambassadors, just to name a few.

Their willingness to invest in educational experiences and leadership development helps ensure that Meade County youth have the tools and opportunities needed to learn, grow, and serve their communities. The Foundation's mission to strengthen Meade County aligns closely with
K-State Extension. They have become an invaluable partner in helping Meade County Extension deliver impactful educational programs and positive experiences for residents of all ages."

We are proud of the work we are able to do. We can't do any of it without our wonderful donors and nonprofits alike. Thank you again to the extension board for this award!
