We couldn't have our County Fair without all of our sponsors! Thank you for supporting 4-H and the fair!

Sale checks will be processed soon and I will be compiling all of the names of sponsors, volunteers, etc. to include in the Thank You for the newspaper and the FB page. You will also receive this list with the addresses for writing your Thank You notes! If you have received any financial contributions directly in the mail or in person that did not get noted through the Fair Office, Extension Office or to the payment address, PLEASE SEND MICHELLE THOSE NAMES so they can be included on the list! We never want to leave anyone off that has graciously contributed in any way!

The 2025 Meade County Fair wraps up tonight with the annual BBQ and our Food/Livestock Sale. These kids have worked hard all year and would love to see you out tonight. If you wish to support any of the youth. Please reach out to any of our 4-H families or Michelle Ross. I can also email you a copy of the sale bill for the Livestock.

Notice: the co****le hole tournament location tonight has been moved to the baseball field across the street from the arena.
Our blessings of rain made the original location a bit too wet.

Today at 1:00 is the GOAT fitting contest. Teams will divide up and get goats show ring ready. You do not need any livestock experience to participate.
If you are curious how to fit a goat or what that even means, the come out and learn from our 4-H'ers, Sharletan Ingram and Sarah Sura.

Livestock judging is happening on the fairgrounds this morning. There is a nice cool breeze and the older 4-H’ers are sharing knowledge with the younger ones. We have some who have never tried this event, but have willingly jumped in to give it a go.
Tonight is Round Robin for our intermediate and senior grand champion showmen. Following that, we have some celebrity ALUMNI climbing back in the ring to see if they still what it takes to be a showman.

The Meade County Fair horse show is happening at the arena. The weather has given us a break from the heat and it is a nice evening. Come on out and cheer on the exhibitors.
