You now have multiple ways to donate to the food bank! You can donate via cash or check (to Meade Food Bank) and mail it to PO Box 610 or drop it by the Nazarene or Lutheran church; via Venmo at MeadeFoodBank; or you can scan the qr code to pay via paypal. There is an option to donate to the building fund or for food. If there is no designation, 100% of the donation will go to purchase food.

This week, we had the chance to talk to Delvin Kinser of KJIL Radio about the BIG need of our food bank! Give it a listen and pray about how you might be able to help!

Food banks have a clear mission: to provide food to those in need. In this week's From The Heartland, we'll introduce you to a food ministry that's doing just that. However, it's success in fulfilling the mission has created a challenge of its own.

Meade Food Bank offers neighbors in Meade County, Kansas a choice shopping experience every Tuesday from 4 to 6 PM. We are currently located in the basement of the Baptist Church at 212 S. Webb Streetand we allow you to get food each week. We offer everything from canned goods to meat to paper products and toiletries. There are non-income or residency requirements.

If you would like to donate financially to the food bank you can make it to Meade Food Bank and mail to Po Box 610 in Meade. If you would like to donate food we are happy to meet you at the food bank to receive it. You can message us here or at 620-408-5268.

We are currently looking for a new location and the funding to facilitate the purchase of a building. If you would like to help with this please contact us here or at 620-408-5268.

We at the Meade County Food Bank are so grateful for the generosity of our community! ❤️

A big thank you to Meade Locker and Processing, LLC and all who made it possible for us to receive 230 pounds of ground beef to help feed local families!

We also want to thank the Ministerial Alliance for partnering with us, allowing us to share a few pallets of food with our neighbors at the Ashland Food Bank.

Together, we’re making a difference—one meal, one neighbor, one act of kindness at a time. 🥘🤝
