Spring Time is upon us!!! The Storm Prediction Center has placed most of Eastern Arkansas in a Hatched area for severe weather Wednesday. This means that there is a higher probability of severe weather in this area than the other Enhanced areas on their map.

The dynamics of Wednesday's severe weather is building today, and will continue building tomorrow. The rain that we received last night will be evaporated throughout the day today and tomorrow while the temperatures soar into the upper 70's and close to 80 Degrees. There is a Low pressure in Colorado that will be moving east throughout the next two days, and when the Cold front trailing the Low pressure meets the warm and very unstable air we will have in place Wednesday it will mean that storms will be intense. The storms may produce large hail, strong winds, and Tornadoes. Some of these Tornadoes may be very severe and Long track.

If I were off work Wednesday and able to chase, I would start in Southeast Arkansas and watch the radar and skies.
