We are a big family that utilizes the camp setting to share our love and God's love. People tell us that we are like a big family.

Fort Wilderness is the center of the universe conveniently located in the Northwoods of Wisconsin (USA)... or so we like to think of it. Since 1956 Fort Wilderness has been serving families, singles, and youth year-round. Our unique Northwoods environment is perfect for disconnecting from the busyness of life and connecting with people and God. We invite newcomers to experience creation, adventure

and God's word in a new way while growing healthy relationships. Fort Wilderness is staffed by 20+ missionaries and hundreds of volunteers all year long. That is just part of the family. The other 8,000+ family members camp with us every year. Summer, winter, fall or spring, friends are always invited. Waiting till you join our family up here in the center of the universe!

Family Getaway 1 was such a sweet time together!

Though Family Getaways are shorter than Family Camp, they're still full of meaningful moments and opportunities to grow closer to the Lord as a family. We loved seeing families make memories, enjoy time together, and be refreshed at Fort!

The Mighty Creator - God created all things by His power and wisdom. From the vastness of the universe to the smallest details of creation, everything exists because of Him. He is the Mighty Creator, and creation declares His glory.

After a summer full of laughter, adventure, worship, and fellowship, it's time for a pause. Fort offices will be closed from August 19-24. (Reopening August 25) as our staff takes time to rest and renew for the season ahead. We'll see you soon - refreshed and ready!
