Our final 5 of 12 awards(please see previous posts): Club Trading Pin State Champion; Living Literature 2nd Place, Small Group Talent 4th place, Solo/Duo/Trio Variety Act 4th Place, and Technology 5th Place (their original video link: https://youtube.com/watch?v=YVuPctIP6ZQ&feature=shared). This fabulous group of leaders, brought home 12 individual, team and club awards. They worked together, they planned, they created a schedules, they put together SWAG bags.

This is just a small snapshot of convention. I will be posting more - 38 other events were represented. Although they did not end up with a state ranking, they represented well and deserve recognition. Look for those in a post very soon. We also had a lot of students who attended convention for the very first time and that is incredibly exciting to share this experience with them

Friends, family and local business: Please help support our wonderful High School Betas. There are two levels of Sponsorships: Business T-shirt sponsors, and Family and Friend 10 for $10.

The funds will help our Betas pay for our delegation to attend our State Convention. 45 Betas travel to Nashville in November to complete in 50+ competitions, hoping to qualify for a bid to National Convention next summer. The full amount to send these kids is nearly $250 each student, making this an $11,000 commitment for these kids. 100% of your donation will go towards the trip and the production of our Student Designed, Limited Edition, Trading Pins. Most of the kids have already committed by paying a $75 deposit. It would be amazing if I could tell them that their balance is paid for. Please help me make that dream come true.

In the comments, I will add a more in depth explanation of the two types of sponsorships.

Business sponsor (or just Friends) can donate at a tier level and be featured on an AWESOME Radiate with Beta t-shirt that our kids are designing. (See comments for more info).

I have also challenged our kids to reach out to 10 or more friends and family members for a $10 donation. A lot of little drops can help us fill our bucket. (I have a youngin who has joined our club this year who is also looking for sponsors. :)
