It was an honor to attend the Little Mr. & Miss Sunflower Days pageant last night! Please join me in congratulating the 2026-2027 titleholders, Little Mr Mason Wheeler and Little Miss Renley Wall. I was grateful for the opportunity to help greet attendees and serve ice cream. I look forward to watching them represent our community this year, including in the Sunflower Days Parade this Saturday at 5:00 PM.

I had such a great time this weekend representing and helping out at The Fort Ransom Area for Bulls, Barrels & Boxing! I had the opportunity to do a hot lap each night and wave to everyone who attended, spend time with my beautiful sash sisters, and help set barrels for slack and both performances. Thank you to Garrett Oland and Karla Lyons for allowing me to help out! I hope to catch you at the next rodeo!

Yesterday was a fun-filled day! I started my morning carrying the Ransom County Fair flag in the parade and spending time with my sash sisters. Afterward, I had some downtime to walk the fairgrounds and see all the animals and exhibits on display. Later I got ready for the second performance by the Abrahamson Rodeo Company, where I carried flags and helped with cattle during steer wrestling. To close out the night, I carried the BEK TV flag since the performance was televised. If you couldn’t make it in person, you can catch last night’s performance on BEK TV. I hope to see you at the next rodeo!

I had a wonderful evening at the Ransom County Fair NDRA Rodeo put on by the Abrahamson Rodeo Company! I had the opportunity to help with flags and assist with cattle during the tie-down roping event. I'm looking forward to a fun, full day tomorrow as I will attend the parade and the second performance tomorrow evening. I hope to see you at the Ransom County Fair! Tonight was night two at the Ashley Community Club PRCA Rodeo, and it was another fantastic evening. I had the privilege of assisting with cattle before the performance, then had the honor of carrying flags during the show and spending time with my sash sisters. Night one at the Ashley PRCA Rodeo was an incredible experience. This afternoon I had the privilege of assisting with the Showdeo, a wonderful family and kid focused event that brings so much energy and excitement to the start of rodeo weekend. Watching the next generation interact and compete in various events is inspiring. It helps encourage young cowboys and cowgirls, while giving families another reason to stay involved and keep the rodeo tradition alive. After the Showdeo, I prepared for the evening performance. I was honored to carry flags during the show and to assist in the steer wrestling by helping chase cattle. I am looking forward to night two tomorrow and hope to see you there for another great performance!
