WLCHC has been an Imagination Library Partner since 2019. Currently, we are supporting the organization by donating to ReadSI to cover the cost of books for the children of Hamilton County. 🚛 I got some shoes in yesterday, I’m expecting about 15 more pairs to come in the mail this week.
Right now I sleep, eat, and breathe shoes. They are in my car, my house, and my cart.  I’ve not made dinner all week but the kids are not mad about the Taco Bell and Dairy Queen they are surviving on 🤣

9-11 am at the Hamilton Co fairgrounds
10-11 am at McLeansboro First General Baptist Church
I will have a table at both for late shoe sign ups if you weren’t able to sign up already.

Our Amazon list is ready to go! It is a work in progress, and I will be adding to it daily (we have 130 signed up right now and about 30 shoes left to go!). It's okay to shop somewhere else and get a better price, just let me know so I can mark it down.

Why we try so hard to get the details right…
Exhibit A:
My own kid received the pair on the right secondhand. At Christmas, I gave her the pair on the left, thinking she would like those. Nope. She will only wear the shoe that feels better on her feet.
I’d much rather spend a little extra time finding the right shoe than hand out a pair that ends up sitting in a closet. Every child deserves a pair they’ll be excited to wear, not just shoes that fit.
