Laborers’ Local 1197’s monthly meeting will be held Monday, June 1st at 7:30 PM. Attendance is mandatory for apprentices. If you are an apprentice and unable to make the meeting, please call the office at 618-643-2757 to be excused. We look forward to seeing everyone.

VACATION CHECKS have been mailed.

Vacation checks have been mailed to your address of record if you submitted a signed request letter to the Fund Office. Those Members who have made advance arrangements with Connie Meadows to personally pick up checks may do so before 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026. If you have not received your check by Tuesday, 05/26/2026, please contact the Fund office at 618-998-1300. Replacement checks will not be generated until after that date. Thank you for your cooperation and participation in the Southern and Central Illinois Laborers Vacation Fund.

Laborers Local 1197 would like to thank everyone for the outstanding turnout at our annual safety day picnic. We were pleased to see such a great attendance and to share in an enjoyable day together- minus the pop up storm and hail. ⛈️

A special thank you to McPeak’s Fish Market for the excellent food, and to all who participated and contributed to the success of the event. From the prizes to the fellowship, it was truly a memorable occasion.

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
