Raising Awareness: Transnational Human Trafficking
The Rotary Club of Tysons was honored to welcome Tim Gill as our guest speaker at our recent bi-weekly breakfast meeting. Tim delivered a powerful and eye-opening presentation on Transnational Human Trafficking, helping our members better understand the realities of human trafficking and the importance of education, awareness, and prevention.
What made his presentation especially meaningful was learning about the incredible work Tim is doing with students at George C. Marshall High School. By engaging and educating young people about human trafficking, he is helping students recognize the warning signs, understand how trafficking can affect communities, and become better informed advocates for themselves and others.
As Rotarians, we believe that lasting change often begins with awareness and education. Tim’s dedication to empowering the next generation is a wonderful example of how one person’s commitment can create a ripple effect throughout an entire community.
