For decades, the professional monitoring industry has worked alongside law enforcement, the fire service, and emergency communications centers to help protect families and communities.

At The Monitoring Association (TMA), strengthening that partnership has been central to our mission for more than 75 years.

Over the past several weeks, TMA CEO Whitney A. Doll has had the opportunity to connect with leaders across public safety and security who share our commitment to collaboration and innovation.

Last month, Whitney attended the APCO International 9-1-1 Impact Awards in Washington, D.C., celebrating individuals who have made outstanding contributions to public safety communications.

More recently, she joined industry leaders at the UL Solutions Security Council meeting, where she presented “Strengthening Public Safety Through Professional Monitoring: Standards, Automated Secure Alarm Protocol (ASAP), and Emerging Trends,” highlighting TMA’s efforts to advance professional monitoring and emergency response.

She also attended the International Association of Chiefs of Police reception, continuing important conversations about partnership and public safety.

At , we remain committed to strengthening collaboration between public safety and professional monitoring because when we work together, communities are safer.
