Hosted by the McLean Community Center in benefit of the McLean Community Foundation with the support of fantastic local McLean sponsors! In addition to great exercise, the event will promote Public Safety Appreciation and serve as an opportunity to express our appreciation and respect for the first responders from our own McLean Volunteer Fire Department and McLean District Police Station. Come out, shake their hands and let them know we are grateful for the outstanding work they do to keep us safe. One more reason to participate – The proceeds from McLean 5K Run will benefit the McLean Community Foundation, our local charity that supports all things McLean, from fire trucks to playgrounds to social services. For more than 35 years, MCF grants have enhanced the quality of life in McLean, encouraged civic spirit and supported community projects that we all value. With the support of sponsors, Century 21 New Millennium and The Greater McLean Chamber of Commerce, the race features a certified course through the heart of McLean and is designed to appeal to runners of all abilities. Recruit a team of co-workers, teammates, neighbors, and friends and mark the calendar for Saturday, October 5, 2019. Together, we can do More for McLean.
