Each month, the Glen Oaks PTA shares a Gift of Gratitude with our incredible staff, and October means it’s time for our annual Boo Bar! 👻🍬

We would love your help stocking it with treats. Every donation makes a difference! Please label your donations “Boo Bar” or “Trunk or Treat,” since we’re collecting candy for both.

Thank you to the parents and loved ones of our Tigers for your donations, shares, and support, and to our amazing staff for everything you did this week! Fun Run week shakes up every school day, and we know how much fun (and work) happens behind the scenes to make it all come together. Here are our big wins from the week:

🎉 We raised 114% of our $70,000 school goal!
💦 Every registered student earned a Great Wolf Lodge day pass
📝 82% of our students registered
💝 88% of registered Tigers received a donation
🏢 62 corporate matches doubled the impact of our donors
🌍 Donations came in from 5 countries and 42 states, including one from over 7,000 miles away in Gabon!
👵 75% of our donors were grandparents, relatives, family friends, and businesses

Every dollar goes right back to our Tigers through field trips, 3D printers, recess equipment, enrichment assemblies, and so much more.

Our official numbers are still being crunched, but rest assured that the top grade and the top class in each grade level will be announced on Wednesday!

Enjoy your mini Fall Break!

It’s SOOOOO close, Tigers! 🚨

The race for first place is down to the wire! 4th Grade is holding on to the top spot, but 1st Grade is only $102 behind! 🔥

Remember, the winning grade’s teachers become the principals’ backup dancers for their music video, so every single donation counts!!!

Keep up with all of the updates, and register if you haven't already:

Our Tiger is stretching, hydrating, and ready to RUN! Fun Run is TOMORROW, and there’s still time to get your donations in!

Every dollar raised goes right back to Glen Oaks, and our board works closely with the school to decide where funds are needed most. Costs have gone up for everything our PTA covers, so your board is committed to making sure every dollar is used wisely and makes the greatest possible impact on our students. That’s what our PTA motto, “every child. one voice.”, is all about!

Don’t forget to log in to your MyBooster.com account to check your student’s points and pick out their prize together! You might be closer to the next reward level than you think. A couple more dollars may be all it takes to bump them up (that’s the case for my kiddo!) 🎁
