What beautiful weather for an impromptu outdoor trunk show last night! We started our meeting there, then moved inside for our business meeting, scrap jar exchange and show & tell. Thanks to Marilyn Kennedy of irishchainquilting.com for a great presentation.

Here are the ones I spied, by Lara Hutchins Cooper, Judy Kriehn, Ellyn Zinsmeister, Brooke Veale, Chris Simon, and Martha Wolf… but there may have been others. Names & Descriptions are shown just after each quilt. Way to go ladies, and CONGRATULATIONS!

There were so many great things presented in our August meeting that I hit our limit of 20 pictures per post! These photos are from the Scrap Jar exchange, the President’s Challenge, Show &Tell, and an awesome trunk show from Nikki Mundt of Mill Street Quilt Company as she took us through her quilting journey and shared her design process. I love the expressions on everyone’s face. I hope that shows the essence of the stories being told and the overall meeting vibe!
