Whether you’re trying to photograph your artwork, create better content for your business, or just take photos you actually love, this Lunch Bunch will give you simple tricks you can use immediately.

Join Serena (), Dallas-based content creator and influencer, for an approachable guide to taking better photos and videos with the phone you already have. She’ll cover lighting, framing, angles, details, and easy ways to make your content look more polished without fancy equipment or complicated editing.

Open Call for Artists:

MillHouse Foundation and the Cotton Mill Arts District invite artists to submit work for Black and White Plus One, an in-person exhibition at the Cotton Mill Atrium Gallery in McKinney.

The challenge: create large artwork in black and white with one additional color. Use that color as a bold pop or explore its shades throughout your piece. Shades of black, white, and your chosen color are welcome.

• Artwork size: 48 × 48 or 48 × 60 inches
• Applications due: December 1, 2026
• Exhibition dates: January 15–March 14, 2027

One color. Plenty of possibilities.

✈️ What does the future of STEM look like?

Join us this Tuesday, October 6 from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM for Lunch Bunch with Rosalie Wade, Director of Education at the Frontiers of Flight Museum.

Rosalie will take us behind the scenes of the museum’s work connecting students to STEM education and future careers, including expanding girls-focused programming, building STEM pipelines, and developing new opportunities in aviation and aerospace.

Bring your lunch, meet other creatives and community members, and come learn something new. This event is FREE and open to all!

Ready to start your sewing journey? 🧵✨

If your sewing machine has been sitting in the corner because you’re not quite sure where to start, this beginner-friendly workshop with is for you!

Learn how to confidently operate a sewing machine, practice essential sewing techniques, and turn your new skills into a project you’ll actually use. Depending on your project and pace, you may create an apron, throw pillow, tote bag, bonnet, dog bed, or another beginner-friendly project.

No need to worry about gathering supplies, all materials, tools, fabric, and a sewing machine are provided. You’re also welcome to bring your own machine if you’d like to learn on the one you’ll use at home.
