Citychurch Youth Outreach Citychurch is a youth outreach ministry on the East side of McKinney, Texas. We are an all-volunteer group who exist to serve others.

Citychurch Youth Outreach is a a volunteer based organization that serves the at-risk youth and families in the McKinney area to help meet their physical , emotional, and spiritual needs. We are a "HANDS ON" organization and we heavily rely on the constant interaction with the people to build and maintain relationships throughout the community. We have been working in this community for 6 years and have gained a "foot in the door" or credibility through maintaining relationships and the people reciprocate by being more open and trusting with us. Our primary focus is to reach out to the at-risk youth and families in McKinney to help promote a better quality of life and to help meet their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We believe that help without hope is no help at all so our organization seeks to educate and empower those in the community. We offer many programs and assistance to the youth and families requiring nothing in return from them. We believe that interaction is a key factor when it comes to affectiveness and effectiveness of our programs. Citychurch offers programs year round that help the community and we seek to become a "mission central" or place where people can come to volunteer and serve the community. We host programs and events year round maintaining weekly interaction with the youth and families. 💙 IT'S A GEORGE! 💙

After the tragic and untimely passing of our beloved George Foreman Grill, we are overjoyed to announce the arrival of his son.

George Foreman Jr. 🥹

He came into Citychurch on October 12, weighing 8lbs. with approximately 60 inches of grilling surface. We are one very proud family.

Though he has some big shoes to fill, we have every confidence that he will carry on his father's legacy of feeding hungry students, volunteers, and staff.

George Jr. is happy, healthy, and adjusting well to his new home.

The family has requested privacy during this transition.

A HUGE thank-you to the incredibly sweet who heard about our loss and generously stepped in to ensure the Foreman bloodline would continue. ❤️

His father would have been so proud.

It is with heavy hearts and empty stomachs that we announce the passing of our beloved George Foreman Grill.

For years, George served Citychurch faithfully, asking for nothing in return but a nearby outlet and the occasional cleaning.

He fed students. He fed volunteers. He fed staff. He cooked countless burgers, sandwiches, and questionable culinary experiments without a single complaint.

He never asked for recognition. He never took a day off. He simply showed up, got hot, and served the Lord.

Today, his heating element may have gone cold, but the memories he seared into our hearts will live forever.

Well done, good and faithful appliance. 🙏

Gone, but never forgotten.

Every year, we get the opportunity to make Christmas special for the kids we serve—not just with presents under the tree, but with experiences, memories, and another reminder that they are surrounded by people who love them.

This year, we're inviting you to help us Sponsor a Kid for Christmas!

Our goal is to raise $7,000 to provide Christmas gifts and special activities for our Citychurch kids.

What does $60 do? It puts Thanksgiving dinner on the table. 🦃🍂
Each Thanksgiving Blessing Box is packed with everything a family needs for a complete Thanksgiving meal—from the turkey and stuffing to the potatoes, vegetables, rolls, gravy, and pie.
One box costs roughly $60 and can comfortably feed a family of 5–10 people.
But for us, the box has never been the finish line. It’s an opportunity to remind our neighbors that they are seen, they are loved, and they have a Citychurch family that cares about them long after Thanksgiving is over.

What started with just 5 guys in February has grown into a group of 14 regulars—with new faces joining us almost every week. We’ve got men of different ages, backgrounds, personalities, and walks of life. We don’t agree on everything (trust us 😂), but we have one very important thing in common:
We love Jesus.
No matter where you are in your faith, come grab a chair, a breakfast taco, and a cup of coffee and join the conversation.

Meet Mr. Kenneth! 👏
Mr. Kenneth joined the Citychurch family in early 2024, and his story of how he got here still makes us laugh. He told me he knew God was calling him to serve at Citychurch because he didn’t really like kids; so there was no way it was his own idea. 😂
Since then, he’s become an important part of our Elementary Sunday School class, serving alongside Mrs. Carol and sharing his incredible wealth of biblical knowledge with our kids.
He also happens to be an amazing baker, and every Sunday he shows up with two goody bags full of homemade treats for our two best-behaved students. It’s a simple tradition that has become one of the ways Mr. Kenneth shows our kids that they are seen, loved, and worth investing in. ❤️
We’re incredibly thankful God called Mr. Kenneth to Citychurch. Thank you for serving, Mr. Kenneth!
