We would like to extend a huge thank you to all of our guests, table sponsors, and bronze sponsors for joining us this past weekend at the Thin Blue Line Ball. It was another emotional, impactful, and celebratory night with family. As we continue to celebrate our 10 year anniversary in 2026 we made an announcement this past weekend.
It has been an honor to host all of you for many years at the Thin Blue Line Ball, but it's time to shake things up. AMDEF is retiring the Thin Blue Line Ball (for now) and is thrilled to announce a new and exciting venture! Coming in 2027 we will now be hosting the AMDEF DUTY-HONOR-COURAGE CONCERT! This will be a less formal event that allows for families to come out and enjoy great music, have a ton of fun, but most importantly; we are still going to present the Spartan Award and Memorial Ceremonies during the evening.
This new venture will still revolve around honor and courage; hence the naming. We are still working the logistics, but we are targeting June of 2027!
They say change is inevitable and "they" are right. While we have loved the ball we also want to form relationships with families from all generations serving in public safety and on the veteran side. We believe the DUTY-HONOR-COURAGE CONCERT will bring all generations of families together, and new relationships will be forged.
It's never "goodbye", but it is "see you later" Thin Blue Line Ball. Welcome AMDEF DUTY-HONOR-COURAGE CONCERT!!
