Little paws, green thumbs! 🐾🌱

Today our Active Cougars visited the school garden with our very own Garden Guardian, Mrs. Devon Rhodes! She taught us gardening etiquette and safety, how to use and read a soil moisture meter, and helped us sow bluebonnet seeds for spring!!

Did you know October is a perfect time to sow bluebonnet seeds in Texas? They germinate in the fall and develop strong roots through winter, preparing for beautiful spring blooms! 💙

Thank you, Mrs. Rhodes, for helping our Cougars grow their knowledge and our school garden! 💚☀️

Garden Workday on October 18th

Join us for our upcoming garden workday on Sunday, October 18th at 8 am. We are planting garlic, native perennials, and wildflower seed. We will also be pulling weeds, watering, and maintaining our bird feeder.

Our Active Cougars started the morning with balance, grounding, and connection! 🐾🧡 Special guest Coach Tennis taught us the importance of staying connected to our bodies and finding our balance.
