What some may not know is McKinney Young Life is fully funded by the community of McKinney and friends of McKinney Young Life, and today, we're aiming to raise $25,000 of this year's budget! Without community support, we would not be able to continue the eternal work we get to do in the lives of kids!

McKinney Young Life has worked hard to chase after students in McKinney, Texas since 2005. With more than 7,500 students enrolled in public high schools and over 5,400 students enrolled in public middle schools, we expect to reach over 1,500 kids by name by the end of this school year.
Though we celebrate the number of students we care for, there are still so many more to share the great news of Jesus with. With a wide variety of things fighting for student’s attention, we believe it’s more important than ever that Jesus becomes what captivates their minds and hearts.
We have seen even MORE growth this year! This past school year and summer, we took 309 kids and leaders to camp and have seen as many as over 300 kids at events.
Due to the growth in ministry, we need to raise funds to help us end this fiscal year in health and hire more staff so we can keep programs running and reach the next kid in our city!
“Young Life means so much to me. And not just having the best time with my friends but helping grow my faith and helping others grow their relationship with Jesus as well. It also means getting to show up weekly and talk to a leader who genuinely cares about you and wants to help you with whatever they can." - A McKinney High Student
"Young Life is a place where everyone can be themselves without feeling judged or unheard...Young Life is a bond that isn’t just a friendship. Young Life allows you to build Christ-centered relationships." - A McKinney North Student
"My YL leader is someone who is dependable, loyal, and wise while also so fun! She is so easy to talk to and is an amazing listener. She will always lead you to the bible with the best advice. I love her!!!!" - A McKinney Boyd Student
