Yesterday, Empty Bowls McKinney had the honor of presenting checks to the incredible community partners who serve our neighbors with compassion, dignity, and love every single day. ๐Ÿ’œ

Meals shared. Pantry shelves filled. Fresh food distributed. Encouragement offered. Hope extended. Lives touched throughout our community.

Each organization serves in its own unique way, but together they embody something larger: a way of being community. A way of showing up for one another. A way of saying no neighbor should walk through hardship alone.

Because artists created, volunteers served, sponsors gave, restaurants cooked, businesses partnered, and this community gathered around the table together, meaningful work continues across McKinney every day.

Empty Bowls has always been about more than bowls of soup. It is about connection. Compassion. Hospitality. And neighbors helping neighbors.

Thank you for continuing to help make McKinney a community that nourishes, serves, and cares โ€” one bowl at a time. ๐Ÿ’œ

LOOK WHAT YOU DID, McKinney!

Because this community showed up with open hands and generous hearts, Empty Bowls McKinney raised $90,000 to help fight hunger right here at home.

Neighbors helping neighbors.
Artists, volunteers, churches, chefs, businesses, sponsors, students, families, and friends coming together to say: no one should face hunger alone.

You filled bowls.
You filled tables.
You filled hearts with hope.

This is what community looks like.
This is what compassion looks like.
This is what happens when people decide to serve together.

One bowl at a time.
One meal at a time.
One neighbor at a time.

McKinneyโ€ฆ look what you did. We are humbled by your generosity.๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

With Grateful Hearts for Our Beneficiaries ๐Ÿ’œ

At the heart of Empty Bowls McKinney is a simple truth: when a community comes together, lives are changed.

We are deeply grateful for the organizations on the front lines of service every day. They are out there feeding families, offering dignity, creating belonging, and extending hope where itโ€™s needed most.

To Community Garden Kitchen, McKinney Food Pantry, McKinney Little Free Pantry, and The Samaritan Inn Food Pantry, thank you for the many ways you nourish our community, not only with food, but with compassion, dignity, and care.

You remind us that serving others is holy work. And you remind all of us what is possible when love is put into action. Because of you, empty bowls are filled and so are hearts. ๐Ÿ’œ

Radical Generosity Looks Like This ๐Ÿ’œ

Radical generosity looks like businesses saying yes to their community.
It looks like sponsors stepping forward.
Like benefactors quietly giving.
Like artists creating.
Like chefs serving.
Like volunteers showing up.
Like neighbors offering their time, talent, and treasure in abundance.

It looks like a community coming together with open hands, generous hearts, and a shared desire to nourish others.

At Empty Bowls McKinney, radical generosity filled bowls. And in doing so, it filled hearts, nourished lives, and strengthened our community.

To every sponsor, donor, artist, chef, volunteer, contributor, and supporter,
thank you. We are deeply grateful. ๐Ÿ’œ

Because of you, Empty Bowls was community at its very best.

๐Ÿ’œ Thank you McKinney ๐Ÿ’œ

Our community showed up!

You came.
You gave.
You shared delicious offerings.
In doing so, you helped fill empty bowls across McKinney.

To our artists, chefs, volunteers, sponsors, and every single guest who walked through the doors at TUPPS Brewery, thank you.๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’œ

Because of you, this wasnโ€™t just an event.

It was a reminder of who we are when we come together.

The bowls we carried home will serve as reminders that small acts of care can ripple far beyond a single evening.

And that together, we can help ensure fewer bowls go empty.
