The Rotary Club of McKinney is proud to bring back our 2nd Annual Veterans Day Flag Project, honoring the men and women who have worn our nation’s uniform.

Together, we’re creating a meaningful tribute at Cpl. RD Foster Veterans Memorial Park in McKinney.

We invite our community to be part of it. Honor a veteran by purchasing a flag or join us as a volunteer to help bring this display to life.

Flag Installation: October 31
Flag Removal: November 14

Because remembering our veterans isn’t just about one day. It’s about showing our gratitude through action.

We are getting ready to END POLIO NOW!

On October 24, World Polio Day, Rotarians, friends, families, and communities across North Texas will come together for the World’s Largest Polio Walk, organized by Rotary District 5810!

A special thank you to Harsha Madhani, Rotary District 5810 Polio Plus Chair, for his dedication and leadership in bringing this important initiative to life, along with the many Rotarians and volunteers working behind the scenes to make it happen.

Our mission is simple but powerful: a world where no child ever has to suffer from polio again.

Rotary has been at the forefront of the fight to eradicate polio for decades, and we are closer than ever to finishing the job. But we aren’t done yet!

Our district’s goal is to raise $25,000 to support Rotary’s global polio eradication efforts.

And YOU can be part of it!

Honor a Veteran. Be Part of Something Meaningful.

The Rotary Club of McKinney is preparing for our 2nd Annual Veterans Day Flag Project, and we invite our community to join us!
Help us create a beautiful display of American flags honoring the men and women who have served our country.

Volunteer Opportunities:
- Saturday, October 31 – Flag Installation
- Saturday, November 14 – Flag Removal

Last Friday, we had the opportunity to hear from a familiar face—Rick Wells, our gracious weekly host at Rick’s Chophouse and founder and president of The Seed Project Foundation.

Rick shared the story and impact of McKinney Roots, the Foundation’s donation farm that grows fresh produce and eggs to help fight food insecurity throughout Collin County.

It was inspiring to learn more about the work happening right here in McKinney and the people committed to making our community stronger.

Thank you, Rick, for hosting our Rotarians week after week—and for sharing another powerful example of Service Above Self.
