❤️ WHO WILL BE IN THE ROOM? MEET AVIS MCNEAL!

A Heart That Loves Deeply. A Friend Who Became Family. A Woman Who Serves with Purpose.

Where do I even begin with this one? ❤️

I've known Avis since we were about THREE years old! Our parents knew each other, and growing up, there were only certain people my mother allowed to spend the night at our house. Well, Avis was one of them! 😂

So when I say we go WAY back, I mean WAY back!

Over the years, I've watched her grow into an extraordinary woman, but one thing has never changed: HER HEART FOR PEOPLE.

Avis loves HARD! She's a giver, an encourager, and the kind of friend who shows up. If she has it and you need it, you have it too. That's just who she is.

She's my sister in life AND my sister in Christ. Not by blood, but through years of friendship, faith, and genuine love. And I don't take that kind of relationship lightly.

She's a wife, mother of three, First Lady, therapist, and ordained evangelist. She wears many hats, but she carries them with humility, grace, and a sincere desire to point people toward Christ.

And let me tell y'all something else about Avis! That girl LOVES to dress up! 😂 Give her a reason to put on a beautiful outfit and step out looking fabulous, and she's READY! She loves a good occasion!

But what makes her beautiful to me goes far beyond what she wears. It's the compassion she carries and the way she pours into others.

At Write The Vision, Avis will be sharing on mental health and self-care, bringing insight from the work she does daily as a therapist, alongside her heart for ministry.

I'm grateful that God allowed our paths to cross as little girls and that, all these years later, I still get to call her my sister.

Avis, I love you, chick! And I thank God for the gift of YOU! ❤️

I can't wait for everyone to experience the heart of this beautiful woman!

❤️ WHO WILL BE IN THE ROOM? MEET PASTOR STEVEN CARTWRIGHT!

Small in Stature. A Giant in the Spirit. A Man After God's Own Heart.

There are some people you meet along life's journey whose love for God is not something they simply talk about. It's something you've had the privilege of witnessing for yourself.

I've known Pastor Steven Cartwright, or as I call him, Steve, since he was around 18 years old. And one thing I can say with confidence is that his heart has always been toward God.

I can remember Steve as a young man, standing in front of a mirror, preaching the Word of God for hours!

We would sit outside the door or in the hallway of their apartment, just listening to him preach. There wasn't a congregation sitting before him, no pulpit, no microphone, and no audience to impress.

Just a young man, a mirror, the Word of God, and a fire burning on the inside of him.

And when I think about those moments today, I realize something powerful: Before many people ever heard him preach publicly, he was already giving himself to the Word privately.

That same passion has continued to grow throughout his life.

Now, let me tell you something about Steve. He's small in stature — and yes, I have earned the right to say that! 😂 — but he is a GIANT in the spirit!

He is a preacher, pastor, intercessor, and prophetic voice who carries a depth of revelation and a heart for impartation. When Steve opens the Word of God, he doesn't simply read the Scriptures. He has a way of bringing them to life!

His expressions, illustrations, and animated delivery draw you into the message. But beyond the way he communicates is the substance of what he carries — a desire for people to understand God's Word, receive it, and be transformed by it.

As a pastor, he carries a shepherd's heart, loving people, overseeing the flock, and helping others grow in their walk with Christ.

And beyond the pulpit, Steve is a man of integrity. He's honest, upright, devoted to his family, and committed to walking before God with a sincere heart.

And then there's the beautiful partnership he shares with my sister, Latrina Cartwright!

When these two come together in ministry, you have a powerful combination of the Word, worship, prayer, and prophetic ministry. They are a dynamic duo who know how to stir an atmosphere, challenge spiritual complacency, and encourage people to pursue God at a deeper level.

But what I appreciate most about Steve is not simply his ability to preach, prophesy, or bring revelation.

It's that the man I see today still reflects the young man I knew years ago — someone who genuinely loves God and has a heart for His people.

From preaching in the mirror as a teenager to shepherding God's people today, his life reminds us that what God develops in private often becomes what He uses to impact lives in public.

Pastor Steven Cartwright is a man of the Word, a man of prayer, a man of integrity, and a living example that spiritual stature has nothing to do with physical size. ❤️

❤️ WHO WILL BE IN THE ROOM? MEET OSAGIE OSARENIYA!

A Quiet Strength. A Heart for Worship. A Life Rooted in the Word.

Some people leave a lasting impression not because of how much they say, but because of how they live.

I've known Osagie Osareniya for more than 20 years. We met while attending Basic Training together, and even then, there was something about his relationship with God that stood out to me.

Osagie was reserved and humble, but what I remember most is that he was always in his Word and always praying.

There was a genuine hunger and thirst for God that you could recognize without him having to announce it. His commitment to seeking God was evident in the way he carried himself.

And that's something I've always admired about him.

Today, Osagie expresses his gift through spoken word accompanied by worship and music. He has a way of bringing words and expression together, creating moments that invite people to reflect on the message and experience its meaning.

But beyond his gift, I appreciate the man I've known throughout the years — someone who values his relationship with God and strives to walk uprightly before Him.

As I think about our journey from Basic Training to where we are today, I'm reminded that what we cultivate in our private walk with God becomes the foundation for what we carry into the lives of others.

❤️ Osagie Osareniya reminds us that a life rooted in prayer and the Word can speak volumes, even without saying much.

I'm looking forward to experiencing what he will share through spoken word at Write The Vision, sneak peak!!

❤️ WHO WILL BE IN THE ROOM? MEET DR. PAT WILLIE!

A Pioneer in the Faith. A Mother in the Spirit. A Woman Who Makes Room for God.

Some people teach you about faith. Others live a life that demonstrates what it means to walk with God.

I've had the privilege of knowing Dr. Pat Willie for years. Many of us lovingly call her our Spiritual Mom.

Licensed and ordained for 36 years, Dr. Willie has served as a prayer warrior, intercessor, prophetic voice, and spiritual mentor. Her heart is to see people healed, restored, and walking in the freedom Christ offers.

What stands out most to me is her relationship with God. She seeks His presence, listens for His voice, and follows the leading of the Holy Spirit.

I've witnessed this personally. There was a time when Dr. Willie called and prophesied that I would have a child. Earlier that same morning, BEFORE her call, my husband had dreamed that we would have a child! That testimony continues to remind me to trust God's voice and timing.

Her passion for prayer also led to The Prayer Clinic, a two-day prayer intensive through her ministry, where she personally issues certificates of completion. Its foundation is the instruction she says God gave her:

“Teach as many as you can to pray.”

As a wife, mother of two daughters, and grandmother, she knows legacy is about what we pour into others. Through prayer, teaching, and gatherings she organizes, she helps people grow closer to God and equips the next generation to seek Him for themselves.

Dr. Willie doesn't just make room for people to gather. She makes room for God's presence.

What stands out to me about Latrina is that she is a woman of many gifts, but at the core of who she is, she's a servant with a heart for people. ❤️

And I think that's what I want people to understand. They may know her voice, but they don't necessarily know the depth of the woman behind that voice.

The Heart of Who Latrina Cartwright Is

Latrina Cartwright is more than a singer. She's a worshipper, a builder, a creative, an encourager, and a woman in ministry.

Affectionately called “Songbird” by her husband, Steve, Latrina has spent years using her voice to minister to the hearts of others. But her gifts extend far beyond the microphone.

She's a songwriter, author, carpenter, entrepreneur, wife, mother, grandmother, and First Lady who serves alongside her husband.

She's gifted with her hands, but she's also gifted with her words.

Whether she's singing, speaking, counseling, encouraging, or sharing a prophetic word, her heart is to reach people where they are.

Her ministry isn't simply about singing a beautiful song. It's about creating an atmosphere where hearts can be touched, burdens can be lifted, and people can encounter God's presence.

God has called her to minister especially to those carrying emotional wounds—people who may look fine on the outside but need healing on the inside.

And perhaps one of the most beautiful things about Latrina is that she doesn't allow herself to be limited to one gift or one assignment.

She is a woman who builds with her hands, ministers with her voice, and pours into people with her heart. ❤️

Meet Stephanie Bryant, owner of That Southern Girl Catering, who will be serving breakfast and lunch at our Write The Vision Make It Plain 2nd Annual Experience!

With over 40 years of cooking experience, Stephanie's journey began in the kitchen alongside our mother. What started with learning, cooking, and sharing meals together has grown into a passion and a catering business of her own.

But here's what I love most about my sister. ❤️

She doesn't just serve food. She serves PEOPLE!

Whether she's preparing delicious meals, feeding the elderly, or giving back to those in her community, Stephanie has a heart for serving others.

And if you're from Mississippi, you know why we're called the Hospitality State! Southern hospitality isn't just about what's on the plate. It's about the love, care, and generosity behind it.
