The new AACB bylaws have officially passed, and with that comes a few board updates. Please welcome your newly appointed board members:
• Alicia Robinson — Secretary
• Rob Robinson — Member at Large

To align the updated board structure with the new bylaws:
- An election will be held in December for a Member at Large position serving a 2-year term so that the Member at Large election cycle falls opposite the regular board elections.
- The Secretary position will be voted on for a 1-year term to complete the current cycle and align with the regular board election schedule moving forward.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the bylaw vote and to those willing to serve AACB and the blacksmithing community.

This year for the forging competition at the conference, instead of thinking outside the box… we thought inside the box 😂

Each competitor had just 15 seconds to put their hands into the enclosed box and feel the mystery object they would be forging. Then they had only 15 minutes to try and replicate it from memory.

Out of 23 competitors, the smith whose piece came closest to the hidden object took the win. Definitely a challenging and entertaining competition to watch!

🥇 Congrats to Joe Latch for 1st Place
🥈 Congrats to Sonia Berger for 2nd Place

Come out and join us today for more demonstrations, vendors, workshops, competitions, and blacksmithing fun!
