The final countdown is on! The Ride for Recovery is happening tomorrow, 9/6. If you've pre-registered for the event you should have received an email with all of the info but just in case you missed it, or are planning to join us tomorrow and didn't register, all of it is below ⬇️⬇️

This is a self-directed, out-and-back ride, rather than a race. You may check in at the Boston Bridge Trailhead of the GAP trail (1906 Donner St, McKeesport, PA 15135) anytime between 8AM and Noon and choose your own ride pace and length as you head south on the GAP trail.

Here are the times our water and snack stations will be open:
Buena Vista Pavilion will be open from 8:30AM to 1PM with snacks and water (7 miles)
There will be turn-around signs for those doing the 20-mile ride in Sutersville before the road crossing.

Cedar Creek Pavilion #17 will be open from 9AM to 12:30PM with snacks and water for those doing the 40-mile ride (18 miles)

Boston Bridge Area will be open from 8AM to 2PM with snacks and water

Some things to remember:
The Beuna Vista Pavilion is easy to miss! It's over the hill a bit off to your left as your heading out-about 7 miles in. We will have lots of signs this year but in the past some folks missed it.

We will have water coolers to fill up your water bottles and Ride for Recovery water bottles along with your t-shirts.

This year we have 3 raffle baskets so bring some extra money to win one. The themes are: Fun Things to do in Pittsburgh, 4Imprint Swag and a Wellness basket. Tickets are $1 a piece or 13 for $10.

The ride will take place rain or shine!

We look forward to seeing you for the Ride for Recovery! Thank you for supporting the McKeesport Hospital Foundation

Whether you're doing the 20 mile, the 40 mile, or anything in between we've got two water and snack stops along the way (as well as at the start)! The first is at the Buena Vista Pavilion (7 miles in) and the second is at Cedar Creek Pavilion #17 (18 miles into the ride). We'll have signs along the way for both the stops and the 20 and 40 mile turn around points! We hope to see you on Saturday!

The Buena Vista Pavilion can be a little tricky to find, it's sat back from the trail on the opposite end of the parking lot. There will be signs and such but be sure to keep your eye out for it! The video shows what it looks like when you're coming from the trail.
