Y’all, we have almost 100 checks to mail out tomorrow! This year you have blown our previous records for this program out of the water. (We’ll have some actual numbers for you once everything is finalized and we’re definitely finished sending out checks.)

AND there’s still a ton more to mail out next week, because we ran out of checks for this week! 😆 We expect to get some trickling in via mail, too.

If you turned in receipts today, your reimbursement will go out next week.

Research Opportunity for Families with Children Ages 3–5
Families who participate will receive a $25 gift card and a free children's book as a thank you for participating in a Harvard University research study on storytelling and language development.
Participation involves:
• A short caregiver survey (about 10 minutes)
• Recording three brief storytelling and book-sharing activities with your child at home
• Approximately 20–30 minutes total

We were just visited by the AFF's Kentucky Outreach Forester, Olivia Thomas, who told us about this Family Forest Carbon Program. It's a 20-year contract for 30+ acres of forested land, where you receive payments of $12.10 per acre per year.
