As a program of Christian Appalachian Project serving youth & teens of the Eastern Kentucky counties of Appalachia, it is our mission to promote the growth & education of our youth. Camp AJ strives to provide boys and girls a memorable camp experience that will last a lifetime, and to work in the local schools to teach & model a variety of social & communication skills.

💙 A huge THANK YOU to our Camp Cook, Counselors, Junior Counselors, and lead staff. It truly takes a village, and ours was incredible!
🙏 Thank you to our community fellowships, parents, and families for sharing their kiddos with us.
🌟 And most of all, thank you to our campers! You made this summer unforgettable, and we hope to see you all again next year! ❤️😊

🌞🎉 That’s a Wrap on Summer Camp 2026! 🎉🌞

What an incredible 7 weeks of summer camp it has been! 💛☀️
We have had so much fun with all of our amazing campers, supportive community partners, dedicated counselors, and wonderful camp staff. 🏕️✨

A heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the families who trusted us with your kiddos this summer. 🫶💕 They truly touched our hearts, and we are going to miss them more than words can say! 🥹❤️

This summer was filled with:
