The top 10 percent of McGregor High School’s Class of 2026 and the teachers who most impacted their lives were honored by the McGregor ISD Education Foundation last week. This was the Foundation’s first annual Legacy Dinner. This special evening was made possible by its presenting sponsor Pakis, Giotes, Burleson and Deasoncon law firm.Foundation president Terry Arp opened the evening by welcoming the honored guests, before they enjoyed a lasagna dinner catered by Diamondbacks. Following the meal, each of the 11 students and their special teachers were recognized through a special film created by 360 Solutions, where each student told why they chose their educator.
Jimmy Hering of Pakis, Giotes, Burleson, and Deasonson law firm began the video by congratulating those being honored. Board members presented a special gift to each honor student as they exited the stage. The students presented their teacher with a special gift, and the teachers also received gifts from the Education Foundation.
