It’s with a heavy heart that I announce this year was the final McGrath 4th of July Celebration.
Unfortunately, the event will be dissolving due to a lack of donations and volunteers needed to make it happen.
Fireworks have become significantly more expensive, and we simply didn’t have the help or funding required. After covering the $4,981 fireworks bill, kids’ rentals, and other expenses, there wasn’t even enough left to reimburse the out-of-pocket costs I personally covered.
It has truly been a joy to see the smiles and laughter this event brought to our community over the years. Thank you to everyone who supported it in any way. It was a labor of love — one I’ll always remember fondly.
