Unfortunately, Henry County 4-H has made the difficult decision to cancel our Bark-tober Bash event scheduled for this Saturday, October 10th.

We apologize for any inconvenience, but safety is always our top priority. After closely monitoring the expected weather for this weekend, we have determined it is not in anyone's best interest, human or canine, to host the event as planned.

We thank everyone who was planning on coming out to support, and keep your eye out for other 4-H events like this in the future! 🍀

In honor of National 4-H Week, here is a Throwback Thursday 📸 These are some photos from the past in Henry County 4-H. Things may have changed but the mission of 4-H has always been the same 🍀 At the end, there’s a photo from 10 years ago of our 4-H Agent, Erin, as a Paulding County 4-H’er with their Poultry Judging Team in front of the Henry County Extension Office! 💚

Ghost Malone has been busy finding his first hiding spot. Follow the clue to find him.

🕵️‍♀️ Scavenger Hunt Clue:

Four leaves stand for learning, helping, and fun,
A place where young leaders get things done! 🌱
With hands, hearts, and heads ready to grow,
Find the next clue where the 4-H folks go! 🍀

The rules are simple:

1. The Henry County Animal Initiative will be posting his clues and a picture of where he is.

2. Find Ghost Malone

3. Take a picture with Ghost Malone

4. Post your picture in the comment under his picture on HCAI.

5. Each picture gets one entry for a Boo Basket.

6. If you make a purchase where he is, take a picture with him and your receipt. The receipt will get you an extra entry. We want to support the businesses that support us ❤️

7. You can post once at each location.

8. Be present at the Barktober Bash for the drawings.
