I hope all is well. It’s Elton Alexander on behalf of Community Development for Real People, It’s time for the CD4RP 7th Annual Back To School Book-bag Giveaway! On July 28th the CD4RP Weekly Food Drive will hold our annual Back to School School Book Bag Giveaway in addition to our weekly food distribution. Elton Alexander is hopeful you will join us sponsoring school supplies to prepare our students for a successful school year. Your support is critical to the success of CD4RP Back to School Giveaway! Last year we distributed 300 book bags with school supplies! Our organization is a 501c3 nonprofit organizations! Your sponsorship is tax deductible!

Community Development for Real People will hold our 7th Annual Book Bag and Food Giveaway Tuesday, July 28th. . The event location is CD4RP Community Assistance Center 1781 Hwy 42N McDonough, Ga 30253. Event time is 10am to Noon.

Today…..CD4RP Honors Armed Services Day with a Food Drive for our troops and the community! ❤️

Henry County, GA – Community Development for Real Progress (CD4RP) is hosting a food drive on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10am-Noon at 1781 Hwy 42N, McDonough, GA 30253, to support local military families and veterans in need.

This event is part of CD4RP's celebration of Armed Services Day, and the organization invites the community to join in showing appreciation for the sacrifices and service of our armed forces.

"We recognize the dedication and bravery of our military personnel and their families," said Elton Alexander, Founder of CD4RP. "This food drive is a small gesture of gratitude for their service to our country." Elton Alexander also served as the Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Stockbridge.

Vystar Credit Union is the title sponsor of this event. Donations of non-perishable food items, toiletries, and household essentials are greatly appreciated.

Today…..CD4RP Honors Armed Services Day with a Food Drive for our troops and the community! ❤️

Henry County, GA – Community Development for Real Progress (CD4RP) is hosting a food drive on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 10am-Noon at 1781 Hwy 42N, McDonough, GA 30253, to support local military families and veterans in need.

CD4RP to Host MLK Jr. Day of Service Food Drive and Distribution!

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Community Development For Real People (CD4RP) will hold a Day of Service Food Drive and Food Distribution to benefit the local underprivileged community. The event will take place on Monday, January 19th from 11am-1pm at 1781 Hwy 42N, McDonough, GA 30253.

Volunteers are invited to report at 9:30am and as late as 11:00am to help with setup, packing food bags, and distributing the groceries. Teens are encouraged to volunteer. Pre-Teens can volunteer with parental supervision. The food drive aims to collect non-perishable items starting at 10am to support local families in need. Then distribute the food to fight hunger. Monetary donations are also welcome.
