It might be warm outside, but it’s a winter wonderland in the workshop! We are deep into building our new snowflake props for the 2026 Fernandes Family Light Show.

​Managing this much winter magic is hard work, so our official Light Show Supervisors, Bill and Frank, took a well-deserved half-day to visit Paws Country Club
They came back smelling amazing, rocking matching bowties, and ready to oversee the rest of the wiring process. 👔✨

We are officially loaded up and headed to the East Coast Christmas Show this weekend! 🎄

​The Fernandes Family Light Show is beyond excited to partner with Light-O-Rama—the absolute best in the business for lighting software and hardware. We’ll be right there with them showing off some cutting-edge new tech, meeting with fellow vendors, and soaking up all the inspiration we can handle.

​Next stop: Philly!! Get ready for some serious upgrades to our 2026 display. 💡🏠

Breaking News: The sun is trying to steal our opening act! 🚨 If Georgia gets rid of the time change and we lose our early sunsets, the Fernandes Family Light Show is going to look very different. Has anyone figured out how to program the actual sun to turn off at 5:30 PM? Asking for a friend. 🤷‍♂️🔌

People like the idea of not having to switch back and forth, but may not like the idea of sunrise happening around 8:15 in the morning in the winter.

We’ve officially pulled back into the station after an incredible weekend! The 2026 Florida Mega Mini is in the books, and this year’s Polar Express theme was right on track.

​We had an absolute blast teaching classes, soaking up the newest lighting tech, and hanging out with some of the best people in the community.
Between catching up with our Light-O-Rama family and meeting with fantastic vendors, and teaching classes, we are ready for this train to pull into the station.

​A huge shoutout to everyone who made this weekend so special. The Fernandes Family Light Show is officially loaded up with fresh ideas, and we are already full steam ahead for 2026!

Our bags are packed, the caboose is loaded, and the Fernandes Family Light Show is officially on the tracks and headed south for the Florida Mega Mini! 🧳⚡️
​We are thrilled to be spending the next few days with hundreds of like-minded lighting enthusiasts.
This year, I have the distinct honor of conducting classes on Light-O-Rama software and hardware, sharing some of the behind-the-scenes magic that makes our show tick. 🎓💡

​When I'm not teaching, I’ll be networking with some amazing vendors and punching my golden ticket to learn the newest techniques to bring back home.

Next stop: making the 2026 season our best one yet! 🎟️🌴

🚨 WE DID IT! $9,500 for Friends of Henry! 🚨

The final numbers are officially in, and I’m absolutely speechless. Together, we raised $4,750 through our collective donations! 📈✨

Because of the 1:1 match from my employer, that brings our grand total to an earth-shattering $9,500 for Friends of Henry Animals, Inc 🐾❤️

That is nearly ten thousand dollars going directly to help local animals with food, medical care, and finding their forever homes. This show is a massive labor of love for our family, and to the many families who respected our home, shared the magic with their friends, and supported the cause—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. You made every late night and mile of cable worth it. 🌟

Don’t go anywhere just because the lights are off! We’ve already got big plans and some new updates in the works for 2026. We’ll be sharing "behind the scenes" looks at the building process and show updates all through the off-season, so keep following along to see how the magic happens!

Don't look at me, I'm "undecorating." 🛠️

Taking down the lights is about 10% as much fun as putting them up. If you see me wandering the yard looking lost today, just keep driving—I’m just processing the end of the 2025 show.
