Week 2 - WHO WE ARE “If you can be here, BE HERE.”
What you prioritize reveals what you believe.
This week at Summit Students we talked about something real: showing up.
Life is busy.
Homework. Practice. Games. Being tired. Wondering “who’s going to be there?”
But following Jesus was never meant to be done in isolation.
Hebrews 10:24–25 (NLT) says:
“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.”
Church isn’t just about what you get.
It’s about what you bring.
Your encouragement.
Your presence.
Your faith.
Someone might need you there more than you realize.
So here was the challenge for our students:
If you can be here — BE HERE.
Don’t drift.
Don’t treat faith like a convenience.
Build habits now that will shape your future.
Summit isn’t just something you attend.
Summit is a family YOU help build.
