Keep up the great work Red Tail!

Let me introduce Sena Stanfield. She is working with me part-time while she is a student at ABAC Wildlife. One of her first jobs was helping clean up ugly post-hurricane branches after we had burned the area. Needless to say, she got a lot of soot!

Sena has worked with scouts in summer camp and is interested in environmental outreach. I’m really excited to have her on board and we are planning to start a monthly Saturday program for children – activities and nature walks. We are also developing materials for some activities and we will be testing them out at our Day in the Woods (Reminder: Saturday April 12). Because of prior commitments we won’t be able to start the program this semester, but we have already started planning to start in June. Stay posted.
