It has been an amazing winter season of girls basketball for our 2nd - 6th graders and last night we celebrated the end of the season together! There has been tremendous growth in skill, knowledge, and teamwork these last few months and this is only the beginning for these young ballers. 💫🏀 We can't wait to watch them continue to grow.

Congrats to our 4th and 5th grade travel team for winning the championship at the Burgettstown tournament this weekend. This qualifies them to compete in a state tournament at the end of March! Congrats boys, keep up the hard work!!

Unfortunately due to a scheduling conflict at the gym, we have to cancel this weeks open gym. Stay tuned for additional open gyms in the coming weeks.

Registration is officially open for the 2025 winter youth basketball season for both boys and girls in grades 2 through 8. This year, we're excited to announce that we are attempting to field 2nd-grade teams! Let's go!

Practices typically begin in November, with games starting in late December or January. We're also working on scheduling some open gym times, so stay tuned for more details.

The registration deadline is November 9th. Registering on time is crucial, as it helps us finalize rosters and order any necessary equipment. Also, we can always use help as coaches and assistants too. Look for that registration link on the registration page as well.

REMINDER - Coaches meeting tonight at 6pm & Last call for board nominations

We're still seeking volunteers for three key positions: Vice President - Girls, Treasurer, and Secretary. These positions are open to:

-Coaches and Assistant Coaches
-Current Fort Cherry High School and Junior High School Coaches
-Parents of athletes registered this year or last year

Pitt Women's Basketball Camps are held at Petersen Events Center on the University of Pittsburgh campus in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Pitt Women's Basketball Camps are led by the Pitt Panthers Women's Basketball coaching staff.

We will be having our end of the season Pizza Party at the Elementary School Gym on Saturday 3/8/25 from 10:30 - 12:30!! We will have Games, Gifts, Prizes and of course, Pizza!! Due to school policy and space the party will be limited to Players and Coaches only. If you have not already done so, please bring your jersey to turn in. We hope to see all of the boys there to celebrate a great season!!
