The first week of school sure was a busy one.

Animal/Plant students met our broiler chickens and got their beginning weight. Cleaned out the shed and cleaned in the courtyard

Green house students made fresh cut flower bouquets for teachers and began assembling and planting greens for our 5 grow towers.

And we held our first meeting of the school year that was attended by over 50 kids.

The officers are looking forward to a fun and rewarding year.

High School and Middle school members have begun our annual mum sale. We would like to thank all of our supporters who help make this a great activity every year. All money raised goes toward FFA events and activities.

The High School Officer team had some fun tonight at Open House. They hosted various games outside and passed out goodie bags. We are all looking forward to a great year and can’t wait to get started.

NHS and NMS practiced livestock judging skills at the Scioto County Fair today. Our middle school team had a great learning experience and the high school team of Landon, Kenzie and Braylie took first overall team and Joshline, Audrina and Gabby got 3rd overall team.

Do you enjoy evaluating livestock and putting your judging skills to the test? Join us for the Livestock Judging Contest at the Scioto County Fair!

Whether you're an experienced livestock exhibitor or just interested in learning more about animal evaluation, this contest is a great opportunity to challenge yourself, gain experience, and have fun.

📅 Date: Friday, August 7th, 2026
🕒 Time: Registration at 1:00 pm, Contest starts at 2:00 pm
📍 Location: Scioto County Fairgrounds

Participants will evaluate classes of livestock and place them based on industry standards. Awards will be presented to top individuals and teams.

Come put your knowledge to the test and see how your placings compare! We look forward to seeing you there.
