Good Evening Mohawk families.

Your food pantry will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, June 9th from 9:30a.m. - 11:30a.m. Share this so we can make sure all our Mohawk families are aware. See you in the morning 🌄

▶️We are supposed to begin our Summer Meal Boxes tomorrow. This means that there will be additional paperwork to complete. You will need to complete the normal pantry papers, and a form for the summer program.

▶️These boxes will be 1 per family along with 1 box of produce per family. Right now, I can not guarantee the time our boxes will be delivered. As of right now, they are telling me between 8:30 and 9. However, if they are late, I can not hold the boxes for anyone. They are a first come, first serve basis, but we should have plenty for everyone.

▶️Please, do not show up early thinking that we will let you in early, we won't. We have work to do before pantry so we are ready for everyone and we can't do that with others inside.

▶️Last thing, if this is your first time visiting our pantry, or if it has been more than a year, please bring information regarding your child's school status. i.e. enrollment form, grade card, notice of intent to homeschool.

Good Afternoon Mohawks, shew its a warm one today 🥵. We might be getting a little rain this evening, so hopefully everyone's gardens can get a drink.
Speaking of gardens, if any greenhouses around would like to donate to the pantry, we would gladly accept plants. (Tomatoes 🍅, Peppers🫑, Squash🥒, Zucchini🥒, Melons🍈...things that can be container grown)

Also, we can only accept farm eggs🥚 if they are laid within the last week, washed, refrigerated and either in 6, 12, or 18 package cartons. We have had to change this recently due to some of the donated eggs being really gross with cracks that wasn't noticeable due to the filth on the eggs. I don't want to stop to accepting eggs altogether, but if these guidelines aren't followed, we will have to.

We will be open this coming Tuesday, June 9th from 9:30 - 11:30. Our summer boxes 🧃 should be available to you then. However, they have not been able to give me an exact delivery time, so if they are late, I apologize now. The Cincinnati Freestore Food Bank has a lot of deliveries 🚚 to make with these boxes and logistics for that can be a little hectic 😳.

Crystal Phipps has started a food drive to help out our pantry. She has done a few of these previously and has brought in all kinds of goodies. You can contact her here: Crystal Phipps, or bring donations to the pantry next Tuesday June 9th between 8am and 11:30am.

🙏I'm begging once again, dear friends, Northwest Has a food pantry and I've chosen them to be my good deed done dirt cheap!

🌟I'm asking for donations of kid friendly foods that can be passed out at the pantry for the kids to have over the summer months. Simple easy to open foods.

Good Afternoon Mohawks, hope all of you have stayed safe during the flooding yesterday.
As a reminder, your food pantry will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, May 26th during our new summer hours of 9:30a.m. until 11:30a.m.

I know it may be difficult for some to make it during those times, but remember, you can have someone else pick up for you.

And don't forget to bring in any extra egg cartons if you can, to give back to those who have been so gracious to donate their fresh eggs to us.

Congratulations to all of our Northwest Mohawk 2026 Graduates! From all of us at the pantry, we applaud 👏 you, YOU DID IT!!!
Now, to all the parents of 2026 Graduates, congratulations, YOU DID IT!!!
You've woke them up every morning, you helped with homework (that sometimes you didn't even understand yourself), you took them to practices, and games, and meetings, and somehow found time to also feed them dinner. You've cried and smiled at their milestones. You've been their disciplinarian, and their cheerleader, you've laughed with them and cried with them. The days were so long, but the years have been so short, you're probably asking yourselves now how it's possible that your baby is old enough to graduate.

Graduates, sleep in, enjoy a few moments without structure, be proud of this huge achievement. Parents, sleep in, enjoy a few moments without structure, be proud of this huge achievement.

🥚🥚Also, if you guys could save egg cartons for the people who donate eggs to us that would be wonderful. I know that receiving the eggs have been a blessing to so many, but cartons are not cheap.

Good afternoon Mohawks!! School is almost over for the year and I know we will all have some happy kids next week.
I wanted to remind everyone that our pantry summer hours begin next week.
Beginning next Tuesday, May 26th, the food pantry will be open from 9:30a.m. until 11:30a.m.
Our hours need to change in the summers due to the pantry being located in the school building. We can only be there when other staff is working at school. We realize it may be an inconvenience to some, and we are sorry.

However, if you are not able to make it to the pantry, you can have someone else pick up for you. A family member, neighbor, or friend can come in and shop for you. All we ask is that you either let us know via message on here or send a note with them. They will be filling out your paperwork, so make sure they know how many people are living in your household.

Also, beginning on Tuesday, I will have some extra paperwork for you to fill out for our Summer Meal Box program. This will be very similar to last year's boxes and the produce will be individually boxed per family. Every family will receive one meal box and one produce box.

Graduation 🎓 is coming up soon, and that brings another question.
Q: My child graduates next week, am I eligible after that?
A: If this is your last child in school, you are eligible to receive from the pantry until the beginning of next school year. So you can still come this summer.
And congratulations parents on getting those kiddos through school!!
