RESCU 2026 Info
Hello RESCU Rally Volunteers!!
I know you are all excited for faire to start this weekend, I know I am! With the start of faire you know it is the start of RESCU Rally Prep for our March 20th event date .
This year the volunteer forms and position requests will be submitted ONLINE! This way it’s all organized in one place! Woot! (link provided below). Second, we are using a new online auction platform this year called GiveButter. So far it is very user friendly.
The positions we are looking to fill this year are:
1. Weekend one Item Collectors from vendors
2. Weekend two Item Collectors from vendors
3. Weekend three Item Collectors from vendors
4. Weekend One Flyer Hangers (if we can get at least one male for the men’s bathrooms that would be awesome).
5. Thursday afternoon volunteers (Jacy & Page will be there) These are folks who will help organize items for the silent auction.
6. Friday DURING faire: - Shifts of folks to hangout inside the great hall to let people see the auction items and answer any questions regarding the auction site & sell brown bag auction tickets. Bonus: it’s air-conditioned!
7. Friday Evening BEFORE Auction start: - Volunteers to hang banners, assist with any vendor set up, etc 7-9pm
8. Friday evening DURING auction: - We need two Vanna Whites (folks who model items).
- We need cashiers for live auction and silent auction.
- We need ‘security’ these are folks who stand by/around the tables making sure folks don’t walk away with any items and answer any questions about how to bid. Once the auction is over these folks will assist with payment verification and item retrieval.
9. We need folks who will assist with selling brown bag auction tickets.
*If you volunteer for Friday evening, you will be fed! A working meal is provided for all Friday evening volunteers thanks to a generous donor. 💕
10. Saturday evening from 6-8pm assist with sold item pick ups in the campground.
***If you have any special talents you’d like to volunteer that arent listed above, please contact us! Examples being Hair-Braiding, Massage, minor Garb Mending, Leather conditioning, ECT.
